Screening & sorting systems
Technology for the materials others struggle with, from world-leading manufacturers.
BIVITEC
Binder+Co
A flip-flow screen built for the feeds that blind a conventional deck. Elastic screen mats are stretched between alternating cross-beams that flex as the machine runs, generating very high acceleration on the deck surface so that damp, sticky and near-size particles are thrown clear instead of pegging the apertures. It is the system we reach for first when a material is too wet, fine or clay-bound to screen any other way.

SANDEXX
Binder+Co
A sand recovery and de-watering system that captures fine sand from wash water before it is lost to settling ponds. A bucket wheel lifts the sand out of suspension and drains it as it rotates, producing a stackable, drip-free product that is ready to use or sell. It both recovers a saleable material and reduces the water and pond maintenance a wash plant would otherwise need.

CLARITY
Binder+Co
A sensor-based sorting line for waste glass that has been proven in the field since the late 1990s. Optical sensors scan the stream and air jets eject contraries such as ceramics, stones, porcelain and metals, while also separating glass by colour. The result is clean, furnace-ready cullet that lets a reprocessor get more value from recovered glass.

COMPACT
Binder+Co
A modular, smaller-footprint optical sorter that brings sensor-based detection to two-stream sorting where space or budget is tighter. It uses the same optical sorting principle as the larger CLARITY system, packaged in a compact standard width that suits lower throughputs or constrained sites. A practical entry point into sensor sorting without committing to a full-scale line.

CRITERION
Binder+Co
A multi-stream sorting system for mixed plastics that uses near-infra-red sensors to identify polymer types on the fly and eject them into separate fractions. Standard widths can be expanded for higher throughput, so the same platform scales from a single sorting stage to a high-capacity line. It turns a mixed plastic feed into clean, single-polymer streams that a reprocessor can actually use.

MINEXX
Binder+Co
A sensor-based sorting system for industrial minerals, used to recover high-value fractions such as quartz from mixed mineral feeds. Sensors detect the target material and eject it into a clean product stream, lifting both the grade and the yield of what is recovered. It brings the precision of automated sensor sorting to mineral processing, where small improvements in purity carry real commercial value.
